Un coffret et un "Best of" pour Iron Maiden

Cette rétrospective prendra la forme d'un coffret de six disques intitulé Eddie's Archive, constitué de matériel en concert, auquel s'ajoute un «Best of» intitulé Edward the Great qui sera vendu séparément.

Sur les deux premiers disques du coffret, on retrouvera des enregistrements à la BBC couvrant la période de 1979 à 1988, une session studio avec le chanteur de la première heure, Paul Di'Annon, les prestations du groupe au festival de Reading en 1980 et 1982 ainsi qu'une performance au festival Monsters of Rock de Donington en 1998.

Les deux disques suivants comprendront le concert complet du groupe au Hammersmith Odeon de Londres en 1982.

Sur les deux derniers disques on retrouvera une collection de faces B incluant des reprises de Cross-eyed Mary de Jethro Tull, My Generation des Who et Doctor Doctore de UFO.

Sur Edward the Great, le « Best of » du groupe, on retrouvera 16 chansons parmi les plus populaires comme Run to the hills, The number of the beast, Wasted years et The wicker man ainsi qu'une version en concert de Fear of the Dark enregistrée au festival Rock in Rio.
